Planning Process

Our process includes the following stages:

  1. Discovery meeting - At Elite Financial Solutions®, we believe that crafting a long term financial planning strategy requires a clear understanding of what matters most in your life. Discovery will focus on your goals, your successes and your challenges and we will work to clarify your financial objectives and rank them according to your priorities.
  2. Gathering information - In order to deliver our best recommendations, we need to know all the facts – the good, the bad and the ugly. In addition to hard data like assets and liabilities, we will discuss “soft” data, like your ideal retirement lifestyle, emotional reaction to financial news and investment risk tolerance.
  3. Analyzing information - After we have a had a chance to carefully review any or all of your investment accounts, retirement plans and tax returns along with the hard and soft data, we will have a much clearer sense of you in relation to money – where you are today, where you want to get to in the future and the distance between those two.
  4. Construct a financial plan - Incorporating all that we have learned about you, we create a plan that will outline specific steps to take to help you achieve your financial objectives – whether that is one specific goal, e.g., accumulating for a child’s education or retirement planning, or designing a holistic plan that contains several objectives over a longer period of time. We will also deliver specific recommendations of how to best accomplish each step in the financial plan.
  5. Implement the plan strategies - Once we are in agreement about the strategies and recommendations, we will assist in all aspects of putting the plan into action. That could as simple as opening and funding a new account to as involved as overhauling an outdated estate planning strategy. While the Implementation phase may be complex, our job is to make it as simple and straightforward as possible for you.
  6. Monitor and review the plan - We believe that financial planning is a fluid activity which requires ongoing monitoring and periodic updating to make sure that the plan’s objectives are being met. We will review the plan and its strategies with you on consistent basis. Our dedication to beginning our relationship with a comprehensive plan, insures our clients that their planning needs will always remain at the forefront of our conversations; no matter whether it is our first meeting, or our twentieth.
